116::365 Amethyst Square

Pattern: "Amethyst Square" by SmoothFox (Ravelry link)

This is my first square for A Square A Day In May! Yay, so excited! It was supposed to be 12", but even though I used the hook size that was called for in the pattern, it still came out to 13.5" after blocking. The pattern is for a solid colored square, but I mixed it up a little. It was kind of hard to do because the rounds didn't always end in the corners in a way that I'm used to. It all worked out in the end. I had to block this square like crazy to make it a nice even shape! I wonder if everybody else had that problem.


Now I'm off to Ravelry to see how everyone else made their square! :)
