Pattern: "Granny Square 54" from 99 Granny Squares to Crochet from Leisure Arts.
This square worked up to about 7" with a size H hook.
The chain loops that are woven together for this square remind me of one of the first things I ever crocheted successfully, Linda Permann's "Loopy Newsboy Hat." You can see the one I made here on flickr. I love the look of the loops on both the square and the hat!
