Pattern: "Granny Square 59" from 99 Granny Squares to Crochet from Leisure Arts.
I made this square with my H hook and Knit Picks Wool of the Andes. I have used this yarn once before, and just like last time, I am going to felt this square. The last time I didn't take a photo of my results because the square got kind of ruffled. I think this one will turn out better. The yarn felted nice and tightly before; I believe the problem was with my impromptu pattern.
I kind of want to crochet and felt a rug by stitching together several wool squares, but I'm worried about how it will stand up to the inevitable pet hair that it will come in contact with in my house. If I can throw it in the hot washer and dryer every once in a while, it should be fine, right? (Please say yes!)
Unfortunately, I have no idea, but I cannot wait to see the results.
