Pattern: "Framed Flower Square" by CrochetSal.
This is a pretty easy pattern that I had to pay extra attention to after getting rounds two and three confused. It really seemed to take forever, so the final two rounds are improvised. The time I saved was probably negligible since I had to take extra time to block it because of the lacy rounds. It was just one of those days!
This is square 10 for A Square A Day In May and square 125 out of 365! I'm officially a third of the way through both projects. I'm so happy that Melissa organized this crochet along this month. Be sure to check out her blog to see everyone else's daily squares. Here are all of my blocks so far. Yay!
If you're at all concerned about the progress on my granny square sampler afghan, it is sort of on hiatus until June because these giant squares are taking all of my time! :) I desperately want to finish it, but right now I'm using my "spare time" to barely keep the dishes from piling up.
I just love looking at your squares. They are all so beautiful!
ReplyDeletesuch a beautiful array of squares.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I'm not the only one who has dishes piling up or life piling up. I want to finish my Zen jacket to wear to dad's birthday party this weekend. Maybe I can do a few sleeve rows this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteYour squares are a true inspiration!
I loved today's pattern. :) I didn't read very carefully, though. You'll see my crazy mess up when I post the photos. It made things interesting.
