Pattern: "Granny Square 42" from 99 Granny Squares to Crochet from Leisure Arts.
I'll begin by stating the obvious. This is not a square. It is more of a granny rectangle. I just had to make this pattern, and now was the perfect time because it makes a great filler block for my granny square sampler afghan! I made a lot of progress on it last night.
Made with my H hook, this square measures about 4" x 9". After making it, I realized it was easily adaptable and used the same type of rectangle to fill in a few more long and narrow gaps.
