Pattern: "Square 79" from 101 Crochet Squares by Jean Leinhauser.
This square would have been much smaller if I had not deviated from the pattern. Those last three rounds of 3dc shells were not part of the pattern. It was supposed to be finished off with a round of single crochet instead. My result is about 8". This is another circle-in-a-square pattern! The textured middle part is made up of popcorn stitches.

Sweet squares, and very good combinations of colors. It will be great Afghans.
