Pattern: "Jackie's Heart Granny Square" by Jackie Karp.
The pattern for this one was pretty vague about where to attach the heart, by the way. I found it helpful to mark the evenly-spaced intervals with a contrasting color of yarn before I started the granny rounds. After making this block, I now feel confident enough to turn pretty much any shape into a granny square like this. Tomorrow's block may be experimental...!
