This was a super simple square to crochet! After the first two rounds, the pattern repeats so you don't have to pay super close attention. It also hooked up fast with my size J Clover hook. I added a round of dc to finish it off to 12". I've never used crossed stitches (the v-like ones shown) like the ones in this square!

Here are my first three squares for A Square A Day In May! I'm trying to decide if I want to continue with this color scheme (which may or may not have subconsciously been influenced by Melissa's cute button above!) or if I am going to keep using stash yarn only. I'll probably run out of all of my yellows before the month is over if I don't go shopping.
