Pattern: "French Nannie's Granny Flower Square," a Ravelry download from Penny Peberdy.
I kind of cheated when I made this square in that the yellow square had been made long ago (for the rainbow afghan I think). I realized that this flower is made on a regular granny square with the petals of the flower attached between clusters on the first two rounds, so I decided to use the spare square as the base. I sewed a purple X in the center to give it a little extra something.
This is so effective and looks so pretty... thanks for sharing all these ideas :)x
